LATAM eCommerce Marketing Specialist (Contractor)
The LATAM eCommerce Marketing Specialist is responsible for the end-to-end management of advertising, merchandising, and partner relationships across e-commerce marketplaces such as Amazon and Mercado Libre in 2–3 target countries. This is a high-impact, tactical role focused on driving sales growth and hitting performance targets.
Key Responsibilities
1. Advertising
- Campaign Management: Lead the execution and optimization of advertising across Amazon, Mercado Ads, and other marketplace platforms to drive incremental growth and improve efficiency.
- Budget Allocation: Manage and optimize monthly advertising budgets across multiple countries, ensuring spend aligns with seasonal peaks, product launches, and promotional priorities.
- Performance Analytics: Monitor KPIs and performance metrics to refine bidding strategies, keyword targeting, and overall campaign effectiveness.
2. Merchandising & Content
- Listing and Brand Excellence: Oversee the setup and optimization of product listings, including SEO-friendly titles, bullet points, enhanced content, and high-quality imagery. Leverage A+ Content and Brand Stores to create a cohesive and compelling brand story.
- Promotional Calendar Alignment: Plan and execute marketing strategies for key high-traffic events such as Prime Day, Buen Fin, Hot Sale, holidays, and other seasonal campaigns.
3. Relationship Management
- Platform Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for e-tailer advertising representatives and collaborate with retail account contacts as needed.
- Distributor Partnership: Own the marketing relationship with regional distributors to ensure localized marketing initiatives are executed effectively and aligned with overall strategy.
Qualifications
- 1–3 years of hands-on experience with a strong understanding of Amazon Advertising and Mercado Ads
- Ability to analyze data and translate metrics into actionable insights
- Strong communication skills with experience managing distributor/partner relationships and internal stakeholders
- Bilingual in English and Spanish, with strong written and verbal communication skills in both languages
