Job Summary

We are seeking a Regional Sales Manager to lead and expand our growing sales team. This individual will be responsible for developing and executing a strategic sales plan to drive adoption of CivilSense among water utilities across North America. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in digital software & service solutions for utilities, strong leadership skills, and a proven track record of building high-performing sales teams.

Job Location

This position is remote with travel requirements.

Job Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Development

Manage and mentor a team of 3+ Sales Representatives, with plans to scale.

Establish clear performance metrics, coaching programs, and career development paths.

Sales Strategy & Execution

Develop and implement a comprehensive go-to-market strategy targeting water utilities, municipalities, and public works agencies.

Drive pipeline growth through direct engagement, partnerships, and strategic alliances.

Forecast revenue and report on KPIs to senior leadership.

Market Positioning & Competitive Analysis

Understand and articulate CivilSense's value proposition versus competitors.

Monitor industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies to inform strategy.

Customer Engagement

Build strong relationships with utility directors, operators, and decision-makers.

Collaborate with product and marketing teams to ensure customer feedback informs roadmap.

Job Requirements

8+ years in sales leadership roles, preferably in SaaS, GIS, or utility technology solutions.

Proven success selling to municipal utilities or public sector organizations.

Strong understanding of water infrastructure challenges and asset management practices.

Ability to position software solutions against established competitors.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Office-based with customer travel

Fast-paced, collaborative environment

May require flexible hours to support national footprint

Compensation

Yearly target salary is $135,000.00 to $150,000.00
