Job Summary

The Operations Coordinator is responsible for aligning manufacturing output with customer demand through the creation of daily production schedules, Manufacturing Orders (MOs), and inventory oversight. Serving as the primary link between Sales, Operations, and Supply Chain, this role manages item setups in Infor Cloud, maintains the Mold Management system, and oversees raw material procurement.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Review and analyze inventory and items shipped reports
  • Prepare and produce daily production schedule, labels, MOs based on inventory and customer demand
  • Communicate schedule changes with production and customer service
  • Assist in forecasting sales demands to maximize production efficiencies
  • Responsible for providing accurate daily production and schedule control reporting
  • Conduct root cause analysis of daily yard reconciliation including junk reporting
  • Maintain Mold Management system, including setup, location, and life cycle of all molds
  • Manage current and new item setup in Infor Cloud
  • Monitor raw material inventory including verification of receiving materials and pricing updates
  • Prepare and issue purchase orders and coordination with vendors
  • Assist accounting department related to PO discrepancies
  • Partner with customer service on inquiries related to product availability
  • Participate in quarterly finished goods inventory and Bill of Materials update
  • Effectively communicate with site leaders about schedule, raw materials, delivery delays, etc.
  • Additional responsibilities related to the nature of the job may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as needed

Job Requirements

High School diploma or GED or equivalent training, experience, and education Minimum 2+ years of experience in manufacturing or accounting business experience Excellent interpersonal skills: ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with employees and managers Excellent communications skills, verbal, written, in-person and by telephone Strong organizational, problem-solving, and critical reasoning skills Strong analytical skills to gather data from multiple sources and report findings Ability to take initiative and work independently Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Experience using Tableau, Infor OS Cloud and Salesforce Software preferred While performing the duties of this job the employee will be required to frequently sit and stand for extended periods of time Ability to perform repetitive motions of the wrist, hands, and fingers to use a computer and keyboard Able to work in dusty, hot and/or cold working conditions Requires bending, crouching, pushing, pulling, stooping, reaching and standing for extended periods of time Wear company provided personal protective equipment - earplugs, hard hat, safety boots/shoes, and protective glasses
