Senior Human Resources & Accounting Manager
The Hotel Accounting & Human Resources Manager is responsible for leading the financial and human capital functions of the hotel. This role ensures accurate financial reporting, compliance with internal controls, and effective HR practices that support a positive and productive work environment.
Accounting Responsibilities
- Review daily reports, and use tax reconciliations
- Perform credit card verification and reconciliation
- Responsible for processing the daily revenue reporting
- Operates with general cashiering responsibility, aligning separation of duties with General Manager
- Handle AR billing and collections, accounts payable, and accruals for month end, ensuring separation of duties is maintained.
- Ensure inventories occur quarterly and review with General Manager and department heads.
- Ensure compliance with internal audit programs
- Train or instruct employees in job duties or company policies
- Generate monthly internal checkbooks for department head purchasing within forecasted guidelines
Human Resources Responsibilities
- Serve as a liaison between management and employees
- Advise on policy matters including EEO and harassment
- Manage staffing: recruitment, interviews, selection, and onboarding
- Administer compensation, benefits, and performance management systems
- Maintain personnel records and compile HR reports
- Conduct exit interviews
- Coordinate training, recognition, and incentive programs
- Investigate workplace incidents and support insurance reporting
- Represent organization at personnel-related hearings and investigations
Education and Experience
- Any combination of education, training or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Knowledge of HR laws and accounting principles

Pay Range – $90,000 - $95,000 per year
