Description

Essential Job Functions:

  • Provide frontline troubleshooting and support for integration issues using Boomi including configuration, networking, and performance tuning.
  • Engage with customers via virtual meetings, chat, and email—managing expectations, clarifying issues, and overseeing cases from initiation to resolution.
  • Diagnose root causes and deliver technical solutions; deeper investigations may involve collaboration with engineering or product teams.
  • Support both real-time (API/REST/SOAP-based) and batch (SFTP/file-based) integration workflows.
  • Design and implement integration processes, including connectors (HTTP, SFTP, databases), data transformation, error handling, and logging.
  • Monitor performance, review logs, troubleshoot and resolve job failures, and ensure system health and reliability.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and, when needed, elevate product feedback and enhancement requests.
  • Participate in a rotational on-call schedule to provide after-hours and weekend support for critical integration issues.

Physical Requirements:

  • Talking, hearing and using hands to operate a computer keyboard, mouse and other computer components.
  • Sitting for extended periods of time.
  • Vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Job will require regular and punctual attendance as well as presence on-site at the assigned work location.

Other Skills/Abilities:

  • Working knowledge of relational databases and extensive experience with SQL scripting (TSQL/DDL/DML) – SQL Server preferred.
  • Experience with scripting languages such as JavaScript, Groovy, or Java for data manipulation.
  • Familiarity with ETL/ELT concepts, performance tuning, and database or network fundamentals.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD processes, DevOps workflows, Docker/Kubernetes, or infrastructure as code tools like Terraform—especially for platform automation.
  • Strong written and verbal skills, both business and technical.
  • Ability to work independently and remain focused under time constraints.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, a patient and empathetic approach to customer support, and a collaborative mindset.
  • Strong proficiency in inbound and outbound interfaces for various transaction sets.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related technical area or equivalent hands-on experience.
  • At least 2 years of technical, customer-facing support experience, preferably with Boomi or similar iPaaS tools.
  • Practical experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), familiar with troubleshooting deployment and configuration issues.
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
  • Familiarity with ticketing systems like ServiceNow or Jira.

Certifications and Licenses:

  • Boomi platform certifications (e.g., Associate or Professional Developer)
