Perform data entry of charges that need to be applied to a vehicle before it sells, and verify that information is accurately recorded.
Maintain documentation, verification of invoices to ensure correct amount on the work orders compared to actual invoice cost.
Respond to department inquiries relating to status of parts and vehicle repair, provide quality service, and assist in resolving problems.
Communicate with departments and management on daily basis to make sure all information is received and posted before a sale.
Submit estimates via email to proper accounts.
Maintain current knowledge of account contracts relating to posting.
Record payroll information for shop employees.
Visibly demonstrate safety commitment by following all safety and health procedures and modeling the behaviors related to such.
Actively participate in support of all safety activities aligned with Safety Excellence.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
May be required to work overtime as business needs dictate.
High School Diploma/GED and 3 years' experience in a related field OR the right candidate could also have a different combination, such as any level degree/certification beyond a HS diploma/GED in a related discipline OR 5 years' experience in a related field.
1–3 years of clerical or administrative experience in automotive industry preferred.
Good communication and organizational skills required.
Safe drivers needed; valid driver's license required.
Ability to drive vehicles with standard and automatic transmission.
Basic computer skills and general use of office equipment
Good leadership skills required; must be able to lead and motivate people.
