Main Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategy for IT segment and TPU compounding in APAC, driving business development initiatives to deliver anticipated volume and margin
  • Build strategic account plans with clear objectives and relationship mapping for key OEMs/ODMs in value chain, lead alliance marketing to support spec-in and accelerate commercialization, maintaining strong industry networks to position Covestro as preferred solution partner
  • Lead commercial hunting activities including prospecting, customer needs assessment, cross-selling identification, and value proposition. Steer segment-focused solution/portfolio launches, promotion and strategic pricing approaches across IT and compounding markets with early-customer activation
  • Identify opportunities where TPU compounding can enhance and extend our current portfolio, and work closely with R&D and AD on recipe/product development
  • Drive marketing and business development initiatives by translating competitive and whitespace insights into targeted campaigns and commercial tactics; plan and execute market activations (roadshows, tech-days, strategic alliances) to promote Covestro TPU solutions and strengthen positioning
  • Manage pipeline performance effectively through accurate forecasting, regular tracking, and collaboration with different functions to ensure alignment with segment objectives
  • Support OEM and transplant management with active coordination of value chain partners and sales team in other regions/countries
  • Drive new customer growth (NCG) in Electrical & Electronics, and other new market development initiatives within the IT segment

Qualification Requirements (Education & Work Experience)

  • University degree in technical discipline with marketing or management specialization in addition (or other related studies) or equivalent qualifications with relevant work experience
  • Proven experience as a technical salesperson in TPE compounding and IT/EE applications
  • Strong connections with related OEMs, ODMs, and industry partners
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate with key external/internal stakeholders across countries and functions
  • Proven track record in driving business growth and achieving sales targets
  • Commercial hunting experience with strong customer needs assessment capabilities
