Marketing Communication Specialist
Join CoVantage's Marketing team as a Marketing Communication Specialist and help bring our brand to life through clear, compelling, and strategic storytelling. In this role, you'll craft and deliver engaging communications across digital, print, social, and video channels—connecting with members, internal teams, and prospective audiences. You'll collaborate closely with marketing partners and cross-functional teams to support campaigns, public relations, and community initiatives while ensuring our messaging is consistent, timely, and aligned with CoVantage's mission and values.

Job Duties
- Write, edit, and proof member-facing and internal communication materials across digital and print channels, including newsletters, press releases, website and mobile app copy, account letters, email campaigns, direct mail, branch signage, brochures, and internal announcements
- Support integrated marketing campaigns by developing communication plans, timelines, messaging, and copy aligned with campaign goals
- Assist with managing and coordinating Marketing Request Form submissions, ensuring timely completion and appropriate delegation
- Serve as an internal photographer, videographer, and video editor to support marketing campaigns, events, and organizational initiatives
- Support community, financial literacy, advocacy, and credit union-sponsored events through promotion, coordination, and branded materials
- Provide administrative and project support to the Vice President of Marketing and Marketing team
- Contribute to post-campaign reviews by summarizing results, insights, and improvement recommendations
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field and/or equivalent professional experience
- Two to five years' experience in marketing, communications, public relations, or brand marketing
- Prior professional experience preparing and editing written business communications, press releases, and similar documents for both internal and public consumption
- Experience in photography, videography, and video editing required
- Hands-on experience utilizing Photoshop Adobe Premier, or other video editing and social media tools preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Windows Operations System
- Must be bondable
