Infrastructure Engineers are responsible for providing a reliable, flexible, scalable, secure, and efficient IT infrastructure to meet current and future organizational needs. They have deep knowledge and hands-on experience in enterprise-wide platforms, and solve technical problems while working on technology initiatives. Infrastructure Engineers have strong architectural, leadership, and technical skills. They ensure delivery of high-quality artifacts, define standards and configuration for the IT infrastructure and ensure adherence to these standards. Infrastructure Engineers interact in a highly effective manner with other team members and management, drive innovation, and influence delivery and performance.
The Infrastructure Engineer is responsible for the engineering, design, implementation, and top-tier support of the Windows Server infrastructure in a highly virtualized, physical, and cloud-integrated environment. This role focuses on engineering robust, scalable, and secure solutions for both on-premises and Azure-hosted Windows Server systems.
Key duties include engineering and implementing advanced automation frameworks for system provisioning, configuration, and lifecycle management using PowerShell, Azure DevOps, and other enterprise tools. The Infrastructure Engineer will lead the development of automated workflows for OS deployment, patching, and monitoring, setting the standards for consistency and efficiency across the enterprise.
The Infrastructure Engineer will serve as a subject matter expert, collaborating with cross-functional teams to lead strategic projects, cloud migrations, and continuous improvement initiatives, driving the evolution of infrastructure automation and operational excellence.
Engineers and maintains automation solutions for server provisioning, configuration, and lifecycle management using PowerShell and related tools.
Designs and oversees enterprise-wide strategies for software deployment, patch management, inventory, and reporting.
Leads the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of operating system deployment (OSD) processes for servers.
Designs and manage the Group Policy Object (GPO) framework to enforce security, configuration, and compliance standards.
Leads vulnerability management initiatives, including developing remediation strategies, defining policies, and reporting on enterprise risk posture.
Defines, implements, and enforces server hardening standards by applying security best practices and advanced security configurations.
Serves as the final escalation point for complex and critical endpoint issues.
Designs and oversees the enterprise print services infrastructure.
Designs, tests, and validates enterprise backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity plans and solutions.
Develops and implements advanced performance monitoring, capacity planning, and cost optimization strategies.
Creates and maintains comprehensive technical documentation, standards, and technology roadmaps.
Acts as a technical lead and subject matter expert on projects, migrations, and upgrades.
Drives compliance initiatives by translating security policies and industry standards into technical controls.
Participates in an on-call rotation for escalated critical incidents.
5+ years of experience in an engineering role focused on enterprise Windows Server environments.
Advanced proficiency with PowerShell scripting for automation, configuration, and API integration.
Deep expertise with Endpoint Management Tools.
Expert-level knowledge of Group Policy design and management.
Proven experience designing and implementing operating system deployment (OSD) solutions.
In-depth experience with vulnerability management, server hardening, and security best practices (e.g., CIS, NIST).
Strong experience with virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
Expert-level troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for complex, integrated systems.
Ability to participate in an on-call rotation and provide after-hours support for critical escalations.
8+ years of experience in enterprise Windows Server engineering.
Demonstrated experience designing and managing large-scale automation and configuration management frameworks.
Experience designing and supporting Azure hybrid environments, including Azure Arc.
Experience with DevOps practices, including building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps.
Experience with physical server management.
Azure certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, or similar.
Excellent documentation and communication skills, with the ability to present technical concepts to diverse audiences.
Proficient in Google Workspace applications, including Sheets, Docs, Slides, and Gmail.

Level 2 - $105,000 - $135,000
Level 3 - $130,000 - $160,000
Level SR - $150,000 - $190,000, Bonus and Restricted Stock Unit (RSU) eligible
Level STF - $180,000 - $225,000, Bonus and Restricted Stock Unit (RSU) eligible
