As a Data Strategy & Sales Operations Intern you will be expected to work in an in-office environment. Corpay will set you up for success by providing:

Role Responsibilities
Corpay is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented intern to support our U.S. Sales organization by consolidating, analyzing, and generating insights across key commercial performance levers. This role will focus on transforming fragmented data into actionable insights that drive sales growth, operational efficiency, and improved customer outcomes.
You will work closely with Sales, Marketing, Revenue Operations, and Implementation teams to evaluate performance across four core areas:
- Product Differentiation & Positioning
- Targeting & Reach
- Coverage / Headcount & Onboarding
- Implementation / Realization (ELA)
This is a high-impact role ideal for someone interested in data analytics, go-to-market strategy, and sales operations.
1. Data Consolidation & Reporting
- Aggregate and standardize data from multiple sources (CRM, marketing platforms, sales performance tools, onboarding systems)
- Build and maintain dashboards tracking performance across the four commercial levers
- Ensure data integrity, consistency, and usability for cross-functional stakeholders
2. Performance Analysis & Insights
- Analyze trends related to:
- Product adoption and differentiation effectiveness
- Lead quality, conversion rates, and targeting efficiency
- Sales rep productivity and ramp timelines
- Implementation timelines, go-live rates, and early-life attrition
- Identify key drivers of performance gaps and opportunities for improvement
3. Strategic Support Across Key Levers
- Product Differentiation & Positioning: Evaluate win/loss data, messaging effectiveness, and product uptake to inform value proposition improvements
- Targeting & Reach: Assess ICP alignment, segmentation quality, and campaign effectiveness to improve lead quality and conversion
- Coverage / Headcount & Onboarding: Analyze productivity per rep, ramp speed, and hiring impact across lines of business
- Implementation / Realization: Examine funnel progression from signing to go-live, identifying bottlenecks and drivers of early attrition
4. Executive-Level Communication
- Translate complex analyses into clear, concise insights and recommendations
- Support the creation of presentations for senior leadership
- Highlight actionable opportunities to improve revenue outcomes
The intern will be supervised, participating in meetings, stand-up meetings when possible, and connect 1:1 with their direct supervisor.
Additional supervision will include:
- Setting clear expectations and goals throughout the internship.
- Helping the intern build skills and knowledge related to strategic growth and its application to our business function.
- Providing constructive feedback on the intern's ideas, recommendations, and project work.
- Offering ongoing team mentorship and support.
Qualifications & Skills
- Pursuing a degree in Business, Economics, Data Analytics, Statistics, Finance, or a related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets (required); SQL, Python, or BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) a plus
- Ability to synthesize large datasets into clear insights
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present findings effectively
- Self-starter with attention to detail and a structured approach to problem-solving
