The Engineering Intern at Cornerstone Building Brands is responsible for performing engineering projects related to the continuous improvement of production, production control, and/or quality. Reporting directly to the Production Manager, this role will be on site at our Ply Gem Windows plant in Auburn, WA.

Must be currently enrolled in and pursuing a degree in Electrical, Manufacturing, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering at an accredited school. Experience with AutoCad, Inventor, or Solid works will be an advantage. Experience in data interpretation/manipulation via MS Excel preferred. Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred but not required, although a demonstrable interest in industrial processes will be evaluated during the interview process. Students with any level of experience are encouraged to apply. Interns will work in office and shop floor environments with extended periods of sitting and standing. Must be able to communicate and engage with employees on the shop floor. Must be able to wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Must have valid US work authorization.
