Lead a team responsible for formulation, execution and optimization of the Transformation and Product marketing and communications strategy in the Retirement Services business. The subject matter expert and "go-to" source for all strategic planning and communications, including message integration across channels, IT and business lines. Responsible for communicating technology and operations enhancements and integrating product development and enhancements within broader marketing communications and content.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Write strategic communications plan and execute deployment of calendar supporting all Transformation work and Product launches and enhancements impacting Retirement Services participants and plan sponsors.
- Integrate all plans across Marketing and ensure resources are aligned for delivery.
- Work closely with legal and compliance to support all communications.
- Be flexible to support new efforts or to adjust timing on planned communications.
- Partner with and serve in a leading role with various areas of business to improve the overall Wealth client experience and drive core business objectives supporting retention and growth at each stage of the client journey.
- Develop annual/monthly calendar and socialize with key business partners. Integrate planning with the line of business goals.
- Work closely with Participant Marketing and Advisor Enablement Marketing teams to integrate the end-to-end experience for new product or transformation initiatives across the marketing organization and provide training and communications to financial advisors about enhancements.
- Manage and optimize communications programs designed to drive advisor, client and plan sponsor engagement, education, and positive outcomes.
- Partner with Consumer Insights and Data teams to create a 360 data reporting strategy for campaigns and programs.
- Lead and optimize list management processes to feed into marketing databases including RPI (Salesforce), Salesforce Marketing Cloud (email platform) and Advisor CRM.
Qualifications and Skills:
- 15+ years group retirement, product or transformation experience
- 5+ years supporting IT initiatives
- Confident communication, sound judgement, and the ability to influence senior leadership and external stakeholders in high-visibility situations.
- Advanced relationship building skills and ability to work across matrixed organizations
- Must have strong communication and presentation skills including large groups
