Data Access & Signature Management Engineer
Core4ce seeks an engineer to deliver secure, scalable access to mission data for operational analytics and to implement advanced signature management capabilities. The role builds data pipelines and enrichment for detection use cases and deploys traffic obfuscation, behavioral masking, and endpoint hardening to reduce observability and enhance survivability.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement secure data access patterns, schemas, and pipelines that support analytics.
- Build enrichment and feature extraction to improve threat detection quality and timeliness.
- Integrate applied Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning outputs into analytic workflows.
- Deploy and document signature management capabilities: traffic obfuscation, behavioral masking, and hardened baselines.
- Coordinate with network, endpoint, and platform teams to operationalize configurations at scale.
- Instrument metrics for data quality, analytic lift, and signature-management effectiveness; report outcomes.
Minimum Qualifications
- Top Secret/SCI with CI poly Clearance.
- Mid-level - BS/BA in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Security, or related field with 5-7 years of relevant experience.
- Senior level - BS/BA in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Security, or related field with 8-11 years of relevant experience, including leadership of cross-functional delivery.
- Hands-on data engineering experience (pipelines, transformation, enrichment) supporting security analytics.
- Practical experience with endpoint or network hardening and configuration management.
- Proficiency with scripting or infrastructure-as-code for repeatable deployments.
- Ability to work onsite with government and contractor stakeholders in SATX.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience integrating analytics with Security Information and Event Management or data platforms; familiarity with feature stores or streaming.
- Knowledge of traffic shaping, deception, or obfuscation techniques in contested or denied environments.
- Experience hardening baselines on Windows, Linux, and mobile endpoints; familiarity with network controls.
- Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CompTIA Cybersecurity Analyst, GIAC Cloud Security Automation, or platform-specific equivalents.
- Prior support to AFLCMC (U.S. Air Force Life Cycle Management Center) or United States Air Force programs.
