The Perioperative Services Educator/Program Development Coordinator is responsible for assessing, developing, planning, implementing, and evaluating educational programs for perioperative personnel to maintain competency, continuing education, and leadership development. The Perioperative Services Educator/Program Development Coordinator functions as an instructor, coordinator and clinical resource to the staff and various OR locations within Cooper Heath System.
Act as a clinical resource for perioperative personnel using evidence-based standards and professional guidelines
Assess the environment to determine educational needs of patients and perioperative personnel
Coordinates and instructs the Periop 101 Program at Cooper University Health Care

Minimum of 3 years of OR experience; 1 year teaching preferred
BSN Required; MSN preferred
Current NJ-RN License (Registered Nurse)
