Marketing Intern

As a Marketing Intern, you will play a key role in analyzing global product and market insights to support the development of strategic portfolio guidance for many of our markets. You will gather input from teams around the world, analyze customer and business needs, and translate complex data into clear recommendations. The role includes developing a framework for how global teams will roll out a new process including stakeholder alignment and communications plan development giving you hands-on experience with real world commercial strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Map global product registrations and activity to build a clear view of where we operate and how.
  • Work with regional teams to understand customer needs, preferences, and usage patterns across diverse markets.
  • Analyze the current product offering, including market relevance, business performance, and product strengths.
  • Collaborate with clinical and internal experts to understand essential product requirements and customer expectations.
  • Engage cross-functional partners to gather feedback, refine insights, and ensure alignment throughout the project.
  • Synthesize insights into strategic recommendations that support smart portfolio choices.
  • Partner with Operations and Finance to understand potential impacts and benefits of proposed changes.
  • Develop a governance, roll-out, and communications plan to support global implementation of the recommended approach.

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to simplify complex ideas.
  • A natural sense of curiosity and innovative thinking; you enjoy exploring new angles and asking "why?"
  • Flexible and agile mindset, comfortable working with ambiguity and not afraid to ask questions when you get stuck.
  • Effective communication skills, including presenting your ideas to different audiences.
  • Collaborative team player with the ability to understand problems and solutions from multiple perspectives.
  • Solid technical skills, including intermediate to advanced Excel (data cleaning, pivot tables), basic business/financial modeling, and the ability to create compelling PowerPoint slides.
  • Ability to engage cross-functional partners and provide compelling insights to help drive change.
  • Fluency in spoken and written English.

Work Environment:

  • Prolonged sitting in front of a computer.
  • 5-days in office in Trumbull, CT.

Education:

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in business with marketing or business analytics focus preferred.
