Jackie Cooper Infiniti is currently looking to hire exceptional people who desire a career path in the automotive dealership industry. One of our entry-level positions is the Automotive Service Porter. The Service Porter position helps ensure complete customer satisfaction by moving vehicles in and around the service area/lot, maintaining the cleanliness of vehicles and the service drive and customer areas. Additional tasks related to service porter are: delivering vehicles to customers after service, and transporting customers to/from their home when needed. This position is fun, stress-free, and allows the team member to work with and have access to other roles inside the service department. The ideal candidate has a high energy level, a desire to work in a fast paced environment, and a valid driver's license. Candidates must have a positive attitude and must be able to safely maneuver vehicles in tight and small spaces. Previous experience not required.

Service Porter Responsibilities:

• Driving vehicles on site for purpose of work
• Installing protective coverings (seat covers, steering wheel covers, floor mats, etc.) and tags in all vehicles brought in for service
• Servicing vehicles with gas, oil, and air as needed
• Helping maintain lot and shop appearance
• Transporting customers to and from their home when needed and requested
• Ensuring that required documentation is complete and is in compliance with regulations and standards
• Following all safety and security procedures
• Performing other duties as assigned

High school diploma or GED preferred. Unrestricted driver's license and clean driving record. Able to safely operate motor vehicles in tight and small spaces. Highly professional and dependable. Excellent communication, customer service, and problem solving skills, including the ability to maintain composure under stress. Able to work independently with minimal supervision. Basic computer and internet skills. Experience in a similar role a plus.
