Irrigation Technician

We are seeking a technician who's been in the industry for at least 3 years and has already developed a professional approach to irrigation. However, we are seeking an individual that will be willing to change their approach when needed in order to maintain systems the "Conserva Way". With our proprietary training system it can bring you up to speed on how we do things. As a Conserva technician you will be responsible for any kind of repair or upgrade, troubleshooting electrical and hydraulic issues, enhancing existing systems to make them more efficient, installing smart irrigation controllers and associated flow sensing equipment and will have tons of opportunity to learn and excel on the job. Whenever we go to a service call we do a full system inspection to find any other issues the homeowner may have missed or any recommended upgrades that can improve their coverage and/or reduce water waste. (commission applied for any repairs or upgrades found in addition to the reason for the service call).

IRRIGATION TECHNICIAN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Valve and manifold repair and rebuilding
• Installing high-tech smart irrigation controllers
• Adding on to existing systems
• Install Micro and drip irrigation installation and enhancements
• Install High-tech sensor and flow sensing installation
• All commercial and residential repairs
• Must have customer service experience and be willing to communicate with the homeowner in order to educate them on why the recommended repairs and upgrades are necessary.
• Technicians are required to communicate with homeowners in person and over the phone. There are multiple circumstances that occur when a technician will need to call a homeowner from the field phone.

LEARNING ON THE JOB

• Regardless of experience you will be required to go through our training system "Conserva University" in order to ensure you fully understand how to adapt in order to irrigate the "Conserva Way".
• Work independently, yet be part of a team
• Assess residential irrigation systems through our proven SES® sales process

QUALIFICATIONS

• 3+ years of documented irrigation industry experience and proficiency required
• Clean driving record
• Results-oriented
• Motivation to earn production bonuses
• Great attitude with a desire for growth
• Team player
• Ability to work regular physical labor outdoors in a variety of weather conditions

Job Type: Full-time Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed

Work Location: On the road Compensation: $19.00 - $27.00 per hour
