Arkansas Connections Academy (ARCA) is a tuition-free, virtual public charter school serving students in grades K-12 statewide. ARCA is authorized by the Arkansas Charter Authorizing Panel and the State Board of Education, and is governed by an independent Board of Directors. The school contracts with Connections Education to provide its educational program and other services. ARCA is accredited by the North Central Association Commission on Accreditation and School Improvement, the Northwest Accreditation Commission, and the Southern Association of Colleges & Schools Council on Accreditation and School Improvement (SACS CASI), which are accrediting divisions of Cognia.

Position Summary And Responsibilities

Working from the office in Bentonville, Arkansas, or remotely, the Testing & Data Support Assistant is responsible for daily administrative tasks of the school such as providing year-round support to testing, engagement, and student data processes to assist the Testing Coordinator, Data Coordinators, and Administration.

The Assistant will be responsible for the successful completion of the following tasks:

• Assist with testing logistics: scheduling, confirming sites, communicating with families, and shipping/receiving test materials as needed.
• Maintain test security inventory and documentation.
• Assist Testing Coordinator with End-Of-Course course checks to ensure accurate eSchool entry.
• Enter and update testing data in state systems and the school platform as needed.
• Provide overflow data entry support, including transfer credit entry, special population flags, and attendance corrections.
• Process and track concurrent credit invoices and collaborate with Finance/Student Success teams to ensure accuracy.
• Complete textbook orders for concurrent credit courses.
• Log communications and maintain IA's for testing-related tasks.
• Support Testing Coordinator with post-testing follow-up, including make-up scheduling and data clean-up.
• Generate reports as requested.
• Cross-train to cover Counseling/Transcript Coordinator and Student Data Management Coordinator during absences.
• Manage Community Service Learning site approvals as needed.
• Support with sending official transcripts.
• Complete McKinney-Vento ordering as needed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must reside within the state of Arkansas or live 300 miles from Bentonville, AR
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, Google Workspace, and web-based applications is essential
• Eschool experience preferred
• Data analysis experience preferred
• Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment
• Good interpersonal skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
• Customer focused approach
• High degree of flexibility
• Occasional travel, including overnight stays, may be required for this position
• Demonstrated ability to work well in fast paced team environment
• Must be able to use a personal electronic device and an email address for two-step authentication.
