Senior Customer Service Specialist

Location: Meriden, CT (Onsite – local candidates only) Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent Salary: Up to $70,000 annually Our client has partnered exclusively with Robert Half in search of a Senior Customer Service Specialist with manufacturing industry experience to join a growing team local to Meriden, CT. This is a full-time, onsite role supporting customer accounts from order placement through fulfillment. The ideal candidate brings strong tenure, attention to detail, and confidence working with pricing, orders, and customer communication in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for assigned customer accounts
  • Process and track customer orders from entry through delivery
  • Manage pricing, quotes, and order adjustments accurately and efficiently
  • Coordinate with internal teams (production, planning, logistics, sales) to ensure timely fulfillment
  • Monitor order status and proactively communicate updates, delays, or changes to customers
  • Maintain accurate records within ERP/order management systems
  • Support account management tasks and build long-term customer relationships
  • Resolve customer issues professionally and efficiently

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of steady experience in a customer service or order management role
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing environment required
  • Proven experience with pricing and order processing
  • Strong customer communication and relationship management skills
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Comfortable working onsite in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting
  • Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Office (Excel preferred)
