First Student is looking for an Entry-Level Maintenance Technician to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone with basic mechanical skills who's eager to learn and grow with a nationwide company.

• Union wage: $27.73/hour - after 6 months, your rate of pay will be $28.73.

What You'll Do:

• Perform light vehicle maintenance to First Student's safety and quality standards
• Handle basic fueling and fluid checks
• Complete minor vehicle repairs and move vehicles safely in the yard
• Use our state-of-the-art paperless maintenance system
• Assist with other shop tasks as assigned
• Participate in safety and skills training sessions

What You'll Need:

• Basic mechanical skills (school or hands-on experience a plus)
• Previous experience with gasoline or diesel vehicles preferred
• Valid driver's license (CDL preferred; we'll train you to earn one within 6 months)
• Ability to safely use hand, power, and air tools
• Willingness to meet DOT drug testing requirements
