Patient Service Coordinator - Dermatology

A busy Dermatology office is seeking a Patient Service Coordinator to support patients primarily through handling incoming and outgoing phone calls. This role is key to creating a positive patient experience by facilitating clear communication among patients, healthcare providers, and clinical staff, ensuring smooth and efficient office operations.

Responsibilities include:

• Answering incoming calls promptly and professionally, evaluating priority, and directing calls appropriately according to urgency and subject matter.
• Providing outstanding and professional customer service to ensure efficiency and promote a positive patient experience.
• Providing timely, accurate, and friendly patient access while adhering to clinical appropriateness and patient privacy standards.
• Coordinating with clinical operations and providers, transferring calls as necessary, including handling complaints and escalations.
• Reliable transportation is required, with occasional travel between office locations.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma/GED equivalent, OR a minimum of 2 years customer service experience preferred.
• 1 Year customer service experience in a fast-paced medical office.
• Epic experience preferred.
