This highly rewarding role will offer the opportunity for you to leverage your knowledge and skills and work in unison with Oracle's best field sales executives, solving complex customer problems and translating customer requirements into delivered functional solutions – a critical role in driving the continued success of Oracle's Cloud Applications in North America.
We are seeking an energetic individual to provide pre-sales support for our Cloud ERP solutions, which include Financials, Procurement and Projects. The right person must be a highly motivated individual with the experience, competence, and interest to learn these offerings in-depth and position them with credibility to both existing customers and prospects in competitive evaluations within the Utility Industry. The position involves a variety of pre-sales tasks, most importantly delivering compelling demonstrations that address the prospect's requirements in a way that leaves the customer eager to move forward with Oracle.
As a Financials domain expert, you will be responsible for not only supporting standalone Financials opportunities but also working with peers on larger opportunities that include other solution components within the Utility space such as Enterprise Performance Management, Asset Management, Risk Management, and Human Capital Management. You will conduct the full range of pre-sales activities.
Through these interactions, you will create for the customer a vision for a better tomorrow with Oracle's solutions. In addition to the Product Coverage tasks listed above, the job will also include the following:
Understanding / background with FERC requirements (required)
7+ years of industry background in the utility space.
5+ years of pre-sales/solution engineering experience
Strong Finance background and experience
5+ years of experience with packaged applications software (e.g., pre-sales, internal corporate use, delivery).
Ambitious self-starter with the ability to work independently and thrive in a competitive environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Experience with Oracle Applications and/or competitive solutions preferred.
1 year of project management or solution architect experience preferred.
Regular travel as needed, approximately 50%.
Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Accounting/Finance or similar degree or advanced degree desirable.
Certifications (e.g., CPA, etc.) desirable.

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only US: Hiring Range in USD from $45.43 to $85.63 per hour; from: $94,500 to $178,100 per annum. May be eligible for equity. Eligible for commission with an estimated pay mix of 65/35 - 80/20.
