Copywriter, Direct Mail

Our client, a home services company, is looking for a Copywriter with Direct Mail experience to join their team. This role is on-site 40 hours per week in Norwalk, CT! You will be working on direct mail and affinity direct mail! You will help shape the way our client communicates with their customers, ensuring our brand voice remains clear, engaging, and consistent.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop marketing materials that drive engagement and customer acquisition across affinity and direct-to-consumer channels.
  • Craft customer-facing communications, including updates on product enhancements, enrollment processes, and service changes.
  • Translate complex service details into clear, customer-friendly language while maintaining brand consistency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align messaging with business goals and regulatory standards.
  • Edit and refine templates and existing communications to improve clarity and impact.
  • Support creative requests across marketing, strategy (B2C), and business development (B2B) departments.
  • Write compelling copy for direct mail/print campaigns aimed at cross-selling.
  • Elevate the quality of messaging across the department, ensuring tone and consistency.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of copywriting experience, with a strong background in print.
  • Proven success in creating marketing and customer-focused content.
  • Experience writing for direct mail print, acquisition emails, and B2B marketing materials.
  • Strong command of direct response methods, tactics, and strategies.
  • Familiarity with project management software.
  • Excellent written communication skills with the ability to tailor tone and style for various audiences and mediums.
  • Collaborative mindset and ability to work closely with marketing, product, and customer support teams.
  • Sharp attention to detail and a knack for delivering polished, professional content.

In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data. This position is onsite and requires you to work closely with other individuals in a collaborative team environment.
