The Pratt and Whitney Global Security Services team is currently seeking a Spring 2026 co-op with interest in Aerospace and Defense. As a member of the Global Security Services team at RTX, you will play a crucial role in supporting both classified and unclassified initiatives within the Pratt & Whitney (P&W) business, a key segment of RTX. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with the Director of Government Security Compliance (GSC) to assist in the implementation and management of our Cybersecurity, Physical Security, and International Security compliance programs.

Immerse yourself in a full-time, Monday-Friday co-op session, that will run January-June (including the Spring semester; it is expected students will take a semester off from coursework to fully engage with this working mentorship opportunity).

What You Will Learn

  • The policies, procedures, and best practices that drive compliance across key areas such as Cybersecurity, Physical Security, and International Security.
  • Observe and experience firsthand how compliance programs are implemented and executed on a global scale, equipping you with a comprehensive understanding of the complexities and challenges involved in maintaining a secure international aerospace and defense environment.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Enrolled in a degree program in Criminal Justice, Cybersecurity, Government and International Security, or related security field
  • Minimum Cumulative GPA of 3.0

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Completed coursework in STEM, Physical Security, Corporate Security, or Government and International Security
  • Experience communicating clear and effective messages to a broad audience
  • Working knowledge of: NIST 800-53, NIST 800-171, Industrial Security operations, or related field

This position is classified as onsite. Please ensure this role type (defined below) is appropriate for your needs before applying to this role. Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 82,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills. Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance. This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
