The successful candidate will have a direct impact on the State of Connecticut's sustainability goals by influencing energy and decarbonization standards, interfacing with GreenerGov CT, and representing the office at the interagency Technical Advisory Committee.
This position requires active Professional Engineer (PE) licensure from the Connecticut Department of Consumer Protection State Board of Examiners for Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors consistent with C.G.S.ยง20-302.
The DAS RECS division's Construction Services office serves as the state's primary department responsible for overseeing Capital Building Construction Projects. Within this office, the Technical Services and Plan Review team collaborates closely with DAS project management staff and Department of Energy & Environmental Protection (DEEP) technical staff to enhance state building sustainability and construction quality standards, advance energy and decarbonization objectives, and support the development and oversight of master planning and pre-design studies.
