IT Operations Analyst II

The IT Operations Analyst is responsible for monitoring, maintaining, and improving the day-to-day performance of IT systems and services. This role ensures stability, availability, and security of applications, servers, networks, and infrastructure to support business operations. The analyst also investigates issues, coordinates with internal teams and vendors, and contributes to process improvements and automation initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Maintains task-based queue for completed tickets in the order received or based on criticality.
• Provides support for installations, troubleshoot applications, servers and database issues.
• On call support.
• Onsite tasks at Data center for tape dispatching, vendor coordination, troubleshoot and support any DC issues.
• Manage and coordinate incident tickets.
• Assist in reviewing and coordinating security vulnerabilities and creating infra tickets for patching etc.
• Manage and maintain infra components/servers in MSL.
• Configuration management.
• Assists with designing and implementing new solutions.
• Assists in maintaining and updating documentation.
• Participates in planning, daily meetings and backlogs sessions.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Issue troubleshooting, incident management, coordinate patching activities for Linux and Windows, configuration consulting, system installation and configuration, system monitoring, on call support, job scheduling, log reviewing, move-it management, certificate management, service account management, system scripting (BASH), space monitoring and cleanup, research support, service management, starting/stopping services, monitoring services, service configuration, ticket management, taking DevOps tickets and making Service-Now tickets, tracking and monitoring tickets, aging and closure.

Basic Qualifications for Consideration:

• Requires relevant expertise in Data center support and configuration management.
• Performs technical-based activities.
• Contributes to and manages operations and maintenance of systems and any projects as assigned.
• Requires knowledge and experience in the field of Data center maintenance, managing tickets, configuration management and coordinating with infrastructure teams for firewall, DNS, and other needs.
• Comply with existing procedures or create new ones to solve routine or standard problems.
• Provides informal guidance to new team members.
• Examines information and standard practices to make judgments.
• Exchanges complex information and ideas effectively.
• Documentation of procedures and technical info for operations and maintenance of systems.

For this position, actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. In addition to base pay, this position, based on business need, may be eligible for a bonus or incentive. In addition, Conduent provides a variety of benefits to employees including health insurance coverage, voluntary dental and vision programs, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO) or vacation and/or sick time. The estimated salary range for this role is $51,975 - $67,500.
