About The Role

As a Full-Time Child Support Specialist Call Center Representative, you will be responsible for:

• Answering inbound calls regarding child support receipts and disbursements
• Handling standards in a fast-paced, large call volume environment
• Utilizing multiple computerized systems, multi-tasking, and documenting each call
• Responding to Michigan child support inquiries and complaints, using a standard script and procedures
• Gathering information, and researching/resolving inquiries
• Informing callers about services available and assessing caller's needs
• Providing peer-to-peer training for incoming training classes that transition to the call center floor

Requirements to be successful in this role you will:

• Have a High School Diploma or an equivalent level of education
• Be able to successfully pass a background check and fingerprinting
• Demonstrate problem-solving skills
• 2 years' experience in a call center environment
• Experience with data entry
• Be able to type a minimum of 30 WPM (words per minute) on a computer
• Have legal authorization to work permanently in the United States without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship
• The ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely
• A strong work ethic
• Effective and accurate written and verbal communication skills
• The ability to be detail-oriented
• Effective problem-solving skills
• The ability to be well organized

For this position, actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. In addition to base pay, this position, based on business need, may be eligible for a bonus or incentive. In addition, Conduent provides a variety of benefits to employees including health insurance coverage, voluntary dental and vision programs, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO) or vacation and/or sick time. The estimated hourly rate for this role is $18.00.
