Cloud Automation Engineer

Concentrix is seeking a skilled Technical Specialist to support a range of backend initiatives, including platform migration, configuration management, automation scripting, and AI-enabled workflow enhancements. This role involves hands-on execution of scoped technical tasks, with deliverables such as migrating platforms, enabling new features, building dashboards, and integrating automation using Python and AWS services. Familiarity with Amazon Q, AWS Lambda, and prompt engineering is highly desirable.

Skills:

• SQL (Read/Write): Proficiency in writing and executing SQL queries to extract, validate, and transform data. Experience working with configuration objects using SQL-like formats (e.g., YAML or metadata files).
• Python Development: Strong experience in writing Python scripts and functions, especially for automation. Familiarity with AWS Lambda functions is a plus.
• Prompt Engineering: Knowledge of designing and refining structured prompts (e.g., XML-based prompting) to optimize AI workflows.
• AWS & Amazon Q (Strong Plus): Experience with AWS services (e.g., Lambda, S3, Quick Sight) and Amazon Q to support system automation and reporting workflows.

Responsibilities:

• Platform Migration: Support the migration of existing tools and applications to new platforms (e.g., Amazon Quick Sight), including the setup of new environments and spaces for critical business applications like the Renewal Justification Tool.
• Configuration Management: Update and manage configuration files (YAML or similar) and platform-specific settings within the AWS Console.
• Prompt Engineering: Provide support in crafting and optimizing prompts, particularly using XML structures, to enhance application workflows.
• Automation via Python: Develop or modify Python scripts—including AWS Lambda functions—to automate internal processes and data flows.
• Logging & Dashboard Development: Create custom dashboards and implement app-specific logging frameworks to provide visibility into usage, performance, and operational metrics for leadership.

The base salary range for this position is $92,250 - $144,964 plus incentives that align with individual and company performance. Actual salaries will vary based on work location, qualifications, skills, education, experience, and competencies.
