Customer Service Representative

Are you a proactive, detail-driven professional who thrives on building strong customer relationships and making things happen? Shine Wire has an opportunity for a Customer Service and Quoting Representative who can own the customer experience and help drive our business forward. If you're a natural collaborator with a knack for problem-solving, organization, and communication-we want to hear from you!

As a key member of our Shine Wire team, you'll manage all aspects of customer accounts, work closely with our outside sales team, and be the critical link between our customers and internal operations. You'll ensure every detail-from initial quote to final delivery-is handled with care and precision.

Responsibilities:

  • Be the trusted point of contact for Shine Wire customers and outside sales representatives.
  • Create and manage bid packages and customer proposals, ensuring accurate and timely quotations.
  • Coordinate the launch of jobs and purchase orders, including sales orders, bills of materials, and project documentation.
  • Analyze material needs using MRP systems and issue purchasing requisitions as needed.
  • Prepare detailed quote data and assess material usage for customer RFQs.
  • Monitor delivery schedules and proactively communicate special requirements internally.
  • Maintain organized and up-to-date customer files and records.
  • Track and report key metrics such as bookings, shipments, and customer activity.
  • Accurately enter and manage customer purchase orders.
  • Act as a liaison between customers and our internal teams-from production to accounting.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve issues and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Provide internal and external status updates on customer accounts and program performance.
  • Occasionally travel to customer sites for meetings, training, or events.

What You Bring

  • A customer-first mindset with excellent communication skills.
  • Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
  • Experience working with ERP systems and cost analysis (preferred).
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and professionalism.
  • A proactive approach to solving problems and driving results.
  • Competency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • An Associate's Degree or equivalent with 3 years related electronics sales experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
