We are looking for an Automation QA Engineer to provide the means and the measures for testing all the aspects of a software solution, both functionally and technically, to meet the requirements and overall quality for the intended use of the solution. This position will be a full-time and remote.

What You'll Do:

• Execute Quality Assurance activities to ensure system standards and user requirements are met
• Write, manage, and execute test plans
• Design, write, and execute test cases and test scenarios
• Leverage JIRA, SQL, and other testing tools in the execution of Quality Assurance activities
• Gain understanding of operating environment, business processes, and application functionality
• Experience with Mobile testing on different platforms and operating systems
• Experienced with use of test tools used in the DevOps environment
• Author the Test Suite - test scenarios and test cases traceable to requirements in order to validate the application deliverables
• Validate data and reports using SQL and other tools (where needed)
• Prioritize and plan quality control activities across a large project, and report on product quality regularly
• Responsible for risk assessment for each release and contribute to bug reporting and triage
• Identify, document and track issues found during testing
• Coordinate with developers and project team members to triage and resolve issues
• Determine, communicate, and execute the appropriate testing strategy for each deliverable
• Evaluates the performance of automation systems or processes, finds improvement opportunities
• Responsible for repeatable test automation or manual at all three levels of the Agile Test Pyramid
• Addresses client's requirements and resolves complex problems related to industrial automation systems architecture or process implementation

What You'll Need:

• 5-7 years of experience in the field or in a related area
• Working knowledge of Quality testing and business process analysis, concepts, practices, and procedures in the Agile/DevOps environment. Ability to demonstrate a certain degree of creativity combined with analysis, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
• Strong experience with a code-based test automation suite such as Selenium, Katalon is required
• Proven ability to collaborate with technical peers and business partners
• Capable of working independently and as part of a team. May assist and guide junior staff as necessary
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong experience with modern languages such as JavaScript, C#, PHP, Python etc.
• Strong experience with build automation technologies like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc. Experience with AWS, Docker, Swagger
• Proven ability to write automated test scripts to verify data structures, data formats, and data values
• Experience with Jenkins or similar build/deployment automation tools

• Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions
• Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
• Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor
