Supervisor – Coffee Shop Operations
The Supervisor – Coffee Shop Operations supports unit management in overseeing daily café operations across assigned locations. This role ensures compliance with company policies, government regulations, and accrediting agency standards while delivering an exceptional customer experience. The Supervisor plays a hands-on leadership role in maintaining high operational, food safety, and service standards while supporting efficient, cost-effective café operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Support unit management in monitoring daily café operations to ensure compliance with company standards, safety regulations, and industry best practices
- Deliver and promote exceptional customer service, ensuring consistently high levels of guest and client satisfaction
- Assist in driving cost-effective operations that meet or exceed financial and performance expectations
- Support all operational activities, including quality improvement initiatives, sanitation, infection control, and facility-related functions
- Ensure strict adherence to all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines for food and beverage products
- Provide leadership, guidance, and coaching to team members to support performance, engagement, and operational success
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support business needs
Qualifications
- Associate's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
- 3–5 years of experience in food service, café, hospitality, or similar operational environments
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with management, clients, customers, and associates
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task, prioritize workload, and adapt in a fast-paced environment
- Exhibits initiative, sense of urgency, flexibility, accountability, and leadership
