Senior Director of Operations
This leader will play a vital role in strengthening client relationships, implementing new programs, supporting business expansion, and upholding the highest standards of safety and service.
Key Responsibilities
Client & Community Relationships (30%)
- Lead weekly district/client meetings to review financial reports and service quality.
- Establish strong, trust-based relationships with clients, administration, and community partners.
- Create structured feedback loops with clients and customers to continuously improve services.
New Business Development (15%)
- Assist senior leadership in pursuing and onboarding new business opportunities.
- Support proposal development and meet with prospective clients.
Operational Standards & Food Programs (15%)
- Oversee implementation of Epicurean food programs and front-of-house standards.
- Collaborate with unit leaders to design seasonal menus and marketing campaigns.
- Drive customer satisfaction through innovation and high-quality service delivery.
Financial Oversight (15%)
- Monitor district/unit financials to ensure budget compliance and profitability.
- Ensure accurate accounting procedures, pricing structures, and payroll processes.
- Maintain accountability for receivables, inventory, and financial reporting.
People & Talent Development (15%)
- Lead hiring, training, and mentoring of key personnel, including GMs and Executive Chefs.
- Champion succession planning, employee engagement, and performance development.
- Cultivate a strong team culture that supports professional growth and operational excellence.
Safety & Compliance (15%)
- Ensure adherence to federal/local health and safety regulations.
- Implement safety training programs and conduct regular site inspections.
- Drive a culture of safety, aiming for zero medical injuries and fully operational equipment.
