Working as the Food Service Quality Assurance Manager at The Citadel, you will be directly responsible for the overall operational safety in a college dining account and will be held accountable for the overall safety behaviors of the account. The manager ensures that the account is operating in accordance with the approved safety standards, while providing the university with a safety first facility, maintaining excellent relationships with employees, guests and university as well as other departments within the operation. Food safety and workplace safety education will be provided throughout internal inspections so foodservice workers can understand the "whys" and help to build transferrable skills relative to safety culture that will help all adapt to the high standard that is set within Chartwells. This position will also be responsible for ensuring vendor compliance as well as maintaining accurate inventory.
