Marketing Administrative Specialist

We are hiring immediately for a full time Marketing Administrative Specialist position.

Location: Tennessee Tech University

Address: 1000 N Dixie Ave, Cookeville, TN 38505 Note: online applications accepted only.

Schedule: Full time; Monday - Friday, with some evenings & weekends required. More details upon interview.

Requirement: Prior digital marketing and graphic design experience is required.

Additional Duties:

  • Assist in creating and executing marketing plans for events, outlining goals, timelines, and department initiatives.
  • Assist in designing and producing signage, video board content, menus, and other event-day collateral.
  • Assist in building sales kits with menus, brochures, and guides to support sales
  • Assist in keeping websites and social media updated with event info, menus, and relevant posts.
  • Assist in telling the story of dining with photography and videography of marketing events.

Pay Range: $18.00 per hour to $19.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Summary: Responsible for clerical functions and administrative support marketing department of the food service programs. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work effectively and maintain good working relationships with co-workers, school personnel, administrators, students, parents, and Supervisor.
  • Assist in driving revenue and guest experience
  • Assist with planning, organizing, and hosting events
  • Assist in social and digital media calendar development and promotions
  • Surveying students to collect marketing research
  • Performs other duties as assigned
