Human Resources Assistant
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Human Resources Assistant to join our dynamic Human Resources team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing support in all aspects of human resources, from talent acquisition and employee relations to file management and compliance.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Aid with all internal and external HR-related inquiries or requests.
- Preserve both physical and electronic copies of employee records. File management, including conducting monthly audits.
- Verify I-9 documentation with the completion of forms; tracks and initiate updates as required.
- Coordinate with parking administration; facilitating new hire and current employee badges and tracking employee employment statuses.
- Support the recruitment process by identifying candidates, manage recruitment statuses, and communicate to management and candidates.
- Assist with terminations, pulling records and updating the termination audit tracker.
- Manage contract staffing by facilitating contract staff for games or special events, timekeeping, and coordination and tracking of required documentation.
- Coordinate orientation / training sessions, through employee events, and performance management processes for annual compliance purposes.
- Assist HR Director with various research projects and/or employee engagement initiatives.
- Schedule meetings and manage HR Director calendar, prepare correspondence and other clerical functions, if needed.
- Perform other job-related duties as required and assigned.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent, required.
- 1–2 years of administrative or human resources support experience, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and comfortable learning HRIS or payroll systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization.
- Knowledge of basic HR functions such as talent acquisitions, employee relations, and recordkeeping, preferred.
- Ability to work flexible, event-based scheduling.
