Job Summary
Responsible for clerical functions and administrative support of Human Resources Department at America's Center and the Dome.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Answer telephones and direct inquires in a professional and client centric manner.
- Maintain confidential personnel files.
- Assist management staff in preparing confidential employment and labor relations documents, including but not limited to proposed disciplinary notices.
- Assist with staffing, scheduling and payroll.
- Work effectively and maintain good working relationships with co-workers, members of management, sub-contractors, and partners.
- Participate in HR Compliance Audit needs.
- Assist with engagement activities and celebrations.
- Assist with Team Member training.
- Assist preparing Union reports.
- Attend in-service and/or safety meetings as required.
- Maintain clean and safe work environment; ability to perform job safely.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High level of computer literacy.
- Passion for people and hospitality.
- Experience in a union environment preferred.
- Expended exposure to computer screens.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Able to sit for long periods of time.
- Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs.
