Job Summary
Summary: Provides administrative support to the Human Resources Director on all personnel matters. Assists with payroll processing.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Performs customer service functions by answering employee requests, inquiries, and questions both in person and over the phone
- Updates HR spreadsheet with employee change requests, track HR compliance items and process paperwork
- Submits MLB credentialing for events
- Assists HR Manager with various research projects and/or special projects
- Schedules meetings and interviews as requested by HR Manager
- Makes photocopies, mass printing jobs, scans documents and performs other clerical functions
- Files/scans papers and documents into the appropriate employee files using shared drive
- Prepare and create new employee files
- Creating standard operating procedures
- Support with large-scale orientations
- Processes office mail
- Managing office bulletin boards
- Responsible for ensuring the office is clean, tidy, decorated, and stocked
- Track office supply inventory and submit office supply orders
- Support with HR employee engagement initiatives
- Assists all managers with misc. projects
- Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- This position requires strong organizational skills, an understanding of HR practices, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- 1-2 years of experience in an administration role
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills are a must
- Must be able to maintain the highest level of confidentiality and handle sensitive matters professionally
- The ideal candidate is a proactive, polished professional with exceptional communication skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to represent the department with confidence and professionalism
- Demonstrated ability to stay composed and effective in high-pressure situations
- Proficient with office equipment including scanners, copiers, and printers
- Bilingual preferred
