Are you a collaborative, student-focused leader who thrives in well-organized environments and knows how to build strong, trust-based relationships? Chartwells K12 is seeking a Director Of Dining Services to oversee operations for our long tenured partnership with Kimberly Area School District in Kimberly, WI, serving approximately 5,000 students across 8 schools and 7 buildings. The program includes breakfast, lunch, and a small catering component, supported by a team of 36 hourly associates and an administrative assistant. The district food service program is known for running like a "very well-oiled machine," making this an ideal opportunity for someone who values structure, teamwork, and a balanced schedule — with (pending the needs of the business) no nights, weekends, or holidays, and a light summer focused on planning, scheduling, and training.
This role is perfect for someone who brings energy, clarity, and a student-first mindset to everything they do. You'll be a hands-on leader, ensuring compliance with USDA regulations while fostering a culture of excellence, inclusion, and joy. At the heart of your work is a commitment to nourishing students with wholesome, delicious meals served in a welcoming environment that supports learning and celebrates community. A background in K-12 food service is highly valued, and dietitians are welcome! If you're passionate about transforming school dining into a vibrant part of the educational experience, this is your opportunity to lead with purpose and make a lasting impact.
