Operations Specialist, Events and Programs

Join our dynamic team and play a pivotal role in connecting Comoto with the passionate riding community through unforgettable events, strategic programs, and impactful partnerships!

As a key member of the Business Development team, the Operations Specialist for Events/Programs is all about bringing the Comoto brand to life at the grassroots level. You'll support our smaller programs, selling, and non-selling events where our family of brands (RevZilla, Cycle Gear, J&P Cycles, Common Tread, and REVER) has a presence.

Beyond grassroots events, you'll be the coordination and focus needed to ensure larger, often complex, co-op programs with our vendors are executed perfectly, with all obligations delivered and accounted for. This role is high-visibility, reporting to the Manager of Sponsorships, Partnerships & Influencer Marketing and collaborating closely with multiple teams, including Merchandising, Creative and Content, Stores, and our awesome vendors.

This is your chance to make a real impact and grow your career in the heart of the powersports industry while helping Comoto stay close to its riders and partners.

Our Operations Specialist for Events and Programs will:

  • Own the Execution & Logistics: Serve as the main point of contact, communicating with event organizers, 3rd party business partners, and vendors to ensure all execution details are clearly locked down and communicated.
  • Deliver Complex Partnerships: Take the lead on the operational delivery of co-op obligations for specified, more nuanced vendor programs. You'll organize and track these obligations to ensure we meet every commitment.
  • Bring the Event to Life: Manage event operational readiness, ensuring all necessary physical components and materials are on-site. You'll make sure event support staff are clearly briefed on the event's goals, objectives, and brand messaging.
  • Coordinate Internal Delivery: Oversee execution and tracking by entering internal tickets (often using systems like JIRA/Confluence) to ensure content and creative deliverables are executed on time. You'll keep vendors, partners, and internal stakeholders in the loop on program status.
  • Collaborate & Plan: Work with the Manager of Sponsorships, Partnerships & Influencer Marketing to help plan, operationalize, and effectively execute Comoto's presence at industry events, partnership programs, and sponsorship obligations.

What You'll Need to Hit the Ground Running: Required Qualifications:

  • A Motorcycle Rider: This is mandatory to connect authentically with the passionate riding community, our customers, and our vendors.
  • Relevant Experience: 2+ years of demonstrated professional experience in a fast-paced environment within Brand Marketing Operations, eCommerce, retail operations, logistics, event management, or customer service.
  • Organizational Strength: Demonstrated organizational strength and the ability to effectively bring an event or complex program to life through strong planning and execution.
  • "Start-up Mentality": Possess a mentality that no job is too small and be highly adaptable. You must be comfortable building processes and adapting quickly to situations that change often. (In alignment with our Core Value: Share The Road).
  • Communication Pro: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills across various levels in an organization, including executive leadership and external vendors.
  • Stakeholder Management: Strong internal and external stakeholder management skills, with the ability to coordinate across multiple teams (Merchandising, Marketing, Creative, Content, Stores).
  • Team Player: Demonstrated ability to work independently while collaborating effectively in a team setting.
  • Positive Ambassador: You are a positive ambassador who can authentically talk about our brands to employees and customers.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A degree (BS/BA) in Business/Marketing, Digital Marketing, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience working in JIRA and/or Confluence.
  • Familiarity with the Google suite of tools.

All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
