The Operations Assistant provides entry-level administrative and operational support to the health plan, assisting with a wide variety of tasks that may shift daily based on departmental needs. This role offers exposure to multiple areas of the organization, including Claims, Customer Service, Provider Services, Quality, Finance, and other business functions. The Operations Assistant ensures that assignments are completed accurately, on time, and in compliance with organizational standards, while maintaining flexibility to adapt to changing priorities. This position also requires the ability to maintain regular, reliable attendance and adhere to a consistent in-office schedule during standard office hours.
Education:
• High School Diploma, High School Equivalency (HSE) or Completion of a CHS Approved Individualized Education Plan (IEP) Certificate required
Experience:
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook, Mail Merge, etc.) or other business/healthcare software preferred• Experience in claims processing, provider services, member services, or other health plan operations preferred
