It Support Officer
We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused IT Support Officer to join our team. In this role, you will provide technical assistance and support to staff, ensuring smooth operation of IT systems and resolving issues promptly.
In this role your key responsibilities will include:
- Provide first-level technical support for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Troubleshoot and resolve IT problems via phone, email, or in person.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and applications.
- Assist with system upgrades and ensure compliance with IT policies.
- Maintain accurate records of support requests and solutions.
- Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships
This position will be offered on a permanent full time basis working 76 hours a fortnight. Located in Cannington, this position may require occasional travel to other sites.
About You
- Minimum Certificate IV Qualification in Information Technology or related field and/or significant experience in a similar field.
- Skilled in help desk support, and hardware/software testing and installation to commonly used applications.
- Working knowledge of Active Directory, Entra ID and Microsoft 365 environment.
- Intermediate communication skills with a focus on providing strong customer service.
- Intermediate interpersonal skills including the ability to liaise effectively with people from diverse social and cultural backgrounds.
- Understanding of the importance of firewalls, antivirus, patching, log monitoring, incident alerting.
- Experience with ITSM, RMM, MDM tools.
- Knowledge of Group Policy, DHCP, DNS.
- Unrestricted driver's licence, Police clearance, and willingness to obtain Department of Justice integrity clearance.
