The Role
The program is delivered in a secure and supportive therapeutic setting and provides psychoeducational group work, counselling, case management and advocacy. This approach supports victim survivors, including children, to remain in their homes and in connection with their support networks, to maximise their safety.
Behaviour Change Support Worker position is a rewarding opportunity to make a difference in Communicare's Breathing Space Men's Behaviour Change (MBC) Program.
In this role your key responsibilities will include:
The service operates 24/7, and the BCSW working patterns will include evening, sleep shifts, and weekend working. Rosters are based on business needs and subject to change. The successful candidate must be flexible and able to adapt to a fast-paced environment. Specific shift times will be discussed during the interview process.

You are passionate about keeping women and children safe from family domestic violence, coupled with a desire to help men change their behaviours through education around Domestic and Family Violence and Abuse (FDVA). You will also have:
