See Yourself in Our Team This role is part of the Reporting and Insights Crew within Financial Crimes domain, where we design and deliver cutting-edge technology solutions that serve data and analytical use-cases within Financial Crimes domain.

We are seeking an outstanding Staff Software Engineer to join our team and help to shape the direction of our data and analytics cloud platforms that we are building.

We're interested in hearing from people who:

• Will shape the future of our data and analytics platforms while focusing on designing, developing, and deploying innovative technology solutions that will enable us to build tomorrow's bank today.
• Use skills to lead our engineers in implementing complex technical solutions in a cloud-based environment. You'll possess a strong risk mindset in ensuring that appropriate cyber security controls are implemented and play a significant mentoring role in providing technical assistance to the engineers in the team.
• Possesses hands-on technical experience working in a public cloud environment ideally using AWS.
• Have good knowledge about Quantexa architecture and core ETL and scoring concepts.
• Are experienced in developing and optimising data integration workflows, ensuring efficient data movement and transformation between various systems and data sources.
• Can implement data quality checks, data validation, and error handling mechanisms to maintain data integrity and accuracy.
• Have familiarity with GITHUB, Confluence, and JIRA.
• Are capable to attend business meetings with stakeholders, understand the requirements and convert them into technical design.
• Can design and implement solutions to complex problems, including onboarding and migrating to new tooling as well as removing obsolete systems and code.
• Have good knowledge on configuration and managing data pipelines, ETL processes, and real-time data streaming to enable data ingestion, transformation, and storage.
• Encourages risk-taking and constructively challenges the status quo while influencing stakeholders and building diverse and inclusive teams.

Skills Required: We use a broad range of tools, languages, and frameworks.

• Ability to design solutions to meet the business requirements and build ETL and scoring pipelines.
• Implement data solutions leveraging AWS cloud services.
• Proficient in Entity resolution and scoring concepts.
• Must have one Quantexa certification (Data engineering/Scoring).
• Have worked on Quantexa version > 2.5.
• Good to have experience in upgrading Quantexa application.
• Data processing framework using EMR and Spark Scala.
• Fluent in all aspects of modern Software Development Lifecycle.
• Comfortable creating documentation and design artefacts for Software Developers, Cyber Security review and other stakeholders.
• Mentoring and coaching other Engineers.
