Responsible for all areas of operation, strategy and growth for the full continuum of care for both inpatient and outpatient services, including associate/physician engagement, employed physician leadership, patient experience, clinical quality, safety and outcomes, regulatory compliance, business development, revenue cycle, financial performance, strategic planning and marketing to build a center of excellence within the system. The leader will be responsible for planning, organizing, directing and evaluating the administrative functions of the clinical service and the delivery of patient care and responsible for establishing standards of nursing practice for the service. The leader will also assure achievement of goals as well as adherence to policies and standards set forth by both state and federal accreditation and regulatory agencies. The director will work collaboratively with the marketing, physician relations, managed care and clinical teams throughout the system. The position will play both a strong strategic role in ensuring program growth and viability as well as a tactical role of ensuring that work processes are designed to produce high quality clinical outcomes cost effective care. Programs and services within scope include Inpatient Psych Units, Intensive Outpatient Programs, Outpatient Medication-Management Clinic, ECT Program, TMS Program, Assessment Center and Psych Assessment Team.

This position will oversee Holy Cross Hospital Davis and West Valley.

Qualifications

In addition to bringing humankindness to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:

  • MSN, MBA or MSW required.
  • 5 years of experience in behavioral health and 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Registered Nurse required for candidates with MSN.

Physical Requirements - Medium Work - exert/lift up to 50 lbs. force occasionally, and/or up to 20 lbs. frequently, and/or up to 10lbs. constantly
