The posted compensation range of $27.98 - $41.62 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. We are seeking a Volunteer Coordinator in our Volunteer Services Department. Are you a highly organized individual with a true passion for people and a commitment to serving your community? As our Volunteer Coordinator, you will be the heart of this essential program, ensuring our volunteers feel valued, supported, and empowered to make a difference.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate effectively with department managers and staff to identify needs for volunteer support.
  • Communicate hospital news, updates, and events to the volunteer corps.
  • Prepare regular reports on volunteer program metrics, including recruitment, retention, hours, and impact.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.

Job Requirements:

  • High School Graduate General Studies Required
  • Minimum (1) year of general office secretarial/clerical experience required
  • Fire Safety (FIRESAFETY) within 90 Days of hire required
