The posted compensation range of $54.76 - $81.45/hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Principal Software Engineer, you will create or enhance complex applications, identifying opportunities and implementing solutions to meet end-user needs and business goals. Every day you will work on multiple high-complexity solutions, troubleshooting and resolving intricate software problems. You'll provide technical guidance to engineering teams, oversee their project contributions, act as a subject matter expert, and mentor all software engineers.

To be successful, you will demonstrate exceptional software design and coding expertise, strong problem-solving skills, and proven leadership in technically guiding and mentoring teams. Excellent communication for conveying complex technical concepts and a commitment to innovation are essential.

• Provide technical guidance in software design and development activities.
• Assist in maintenances and upgrades of existing software applications.
• Participate in design reviews and recommend improvements.
• Provide support in all phases of SDLC and ensure to deliver high-quality products.
• Provide trainings and mentor other Engineers when required.
• Analyze and troubleshoot application issues in a timely fashion.

Job Requirements

Required:

• Bachelors Of Science Computer Science, Computer Engineer or related technical discipline or equivalent software development experience, upon hire and
• 7+ years of job-related experience and
• 8+ years of experience as senior software engineer and
• Experience in development of distributed/scalable systems and high-volume transaction applications.

Preferred:

• Masters Other, upon hire
