The Director of Perioperative Services is a Registered Nurse (RN) leader responsible for the overall strategic direction, operational management, and clinical excellence of all perioperative areas. This includes, but is not limited to, the operating room (OR), pre-operative holding, post-anesthesia care unit (PACU), and potentially sterile processing. The Director ensures the delivery of safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care while fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment for staff. This role requires strong leadership, communication, financial management, and problem-solving skills, as well as a deep understanding of perioperative nursing practice and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:
Education/Work Experience Requirements: Bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related field, graduation from an accredited school of nursing and a minimum of six years of recent work experience in perioperative nursing that demonstrates attainment of the requisite job knowledge/abilities, including three years in a supervisory or management capacity.
Equivalent additional qualifying work experience that would demonstrate attainment of the requisite job knowledge/abilities may be substituted for two years of the degree requirement.
Licensure/Certification: Current licensure as a Registered Nurse by the Washington State Board of Nursing. Current healthcare provider BLS certification from AHA.
