The posted compensation range of $26.76 - $39.81 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. CommonSpirit may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law.

This position supports Ambulatory Clinics in the Stockton, CA and San Andreas, CA areas and candidates may reside in either location.

The Clinical Support Specialist performs duties related to system training and workflow optimization, which includes computer-based training and orientation of staff and physicians in an efficient and economical manner; participation in workflow design and development; project implementation; documentation; and end user training.

This position has delegated responsibility for problem solving, assessing processes and issues, and collaborating with other staff and physicians to develop solutions resulting in efficient and functional workflows for end users of our software applications. The Clinical Support Specialist assures that training is customer-focused and based on needs identified by customers throughout the system. The department is working to implement leading-edge technology solutions, including electronic practice management, health records and clinical decision support systems in support of our organization's overall goal to transform healthcare.

Responsibilities:

  • Performs duties related to system training and workflow development, which includes computer-based training and orientation of staff and physicians in an efficient and economical manner.
  • Participates in workflow design and development; project implementation; documentation; and end user training.
  • Responsibility for problem solving, assessing processes and issues, and collaborating with other staff and physicians to develop solutions resulting in efficient and functional workflows for end users of our software applications.
  • Assures that training is customer-focused and based on needs identified by customers throughout the system.
  • Assists with training and support of leading-edge technology solutions, including electronic practice management, health records and clinical decision support systems in support of our organization's overall goal to transform healthcare.

Qualifications:

  • High School Graduate/GED Required
  • Or a minimum two (2) years of experience working in a clinical setting with daily use of an electronic medical record, understanding of clinical workflows within an EMR and minimum two (2) years of proven knowledge of clinical workflows and track record of providing excellent support to clinical staff.
  • Medical Assistant Certification or Licensed Practical Nurse license
