Senior Software Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer with knowledge and a broad range of concepts, technology, and domain insights to develop and deliver world-class software solutions. You will be primarily responsible for building software in fast-paced, greenfields environments, using the latest cloud tooling & frameworks to create early stage prototypes & MVP releases that help advance business cases for new products. Along with the initial build, there is an expectation you can help establish and evolve these initiatives to help expand our portfolio of ventures.

The ideal candidate will bring the following qualifications and expertise:

• Design, implement, and run mobile applications, ensuring seamless integration across front-end & back-end with high test coverage
• Implement and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code for mobile applications
• Proactively identify, prioritize, and address technical debt, ensuring sustainable code quality and alignment with long-term project goals
• Take initiative and provide expert guidance to the business on how to scope & develop new products

We are interested to hear from people who have experience in:

• 5+ years of programming and software development experience. Experience and comfort in Typescript.
• Must have experience building modern front-& back-end experiences using modern, cross-platform mobile app technologies such as Expo/React Native
• Experience in applying testing libraries to mobile applications
• Strong expertise in security practices with proven experience implementing and maintaining secure applications.

Desired:

• Strong expertise in OpenID Connect or other similar standards
• Cloud infrastructure experience, ideally AWS
