Position Description: The Senior Manager of Software Development & Engineering for our Enterprise Logistics business unit will be responsible for leading a team of software engineers in developing and maintaining critical supply chain management systems. These systems are used by our customers to manage their warehouses, transportation operations, and other logistics activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development and experience managing teams of software professionals. They should also have a deep understanding of supply chain management processes and be able to leverage this knowledge to drive innovation within our organization.
Typically requires 9+ years of professional experience and 1+ years of supervisory and/or management experience.
Minimum of 9 years of experience in software development, including at least 5 years of experience managing software engineering teams. Extensive experience with development, implementation and customization of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS). Proven track record of delivering impactful supply chain management solutions. Strong knowledge of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile) and experience with multiple programming languages and frameworks. Solid grasp of data modeling concepts and SQL. Additional Skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders. AS/400 RPG experience preferred. Education Bachelors degree or equivalent experience.
